A bit of a darker photo but it really shows how the shadows and lack of sunshine can cause the rock formations to turn different colors. 
This is just a great photo. Sunshine and beautiful cloud formations. One of my favourite photos from my whole trip. 
The Montezuma's Castle. Now this is an amazing art of architecture. The people actually built their homes into the side of the cliff. Very Fascinating. 
This is a close up of Montezuma's Castle. See how the houses were made with mud and clay. Also they used ladders to access different levels. Having built high up it made it harder for other tribes and wild animals to attack or invade. | 
Some shadows in the foreground and bright sunshine in the background. The Grand Canyon is just so big and awesome.

This is a model of the rooms that the ancient Indians used to live inside of the Montezuma Castle structure. 
This is at the Mexican Border when I was visiting in Arizona . Sure was interesting there in Mexico. Very different to the USA in culture. |
